Oh boy. It's a real Catch 22 around here. We've been having fun non-stop and have so much to report and share. However, all the fun we're having leaves little time for blog-posting. Especially when SOMEONE in the family insisted on buying a Mac as our new personal computer. We have no idea how to use it. SOMEONE should have done research on her own rather than just listened to people saying "you're going to love it!" People said "you're going to love it!" about the movies Spaceballs and Throw Momma From the Train, but SOMEONE didn't enjoy either of them. *note: the weird font nonsense that occurs halfway through this post is a result of the aforementioned someone not knowing how to fix the tricky html language junk. I blame the Mac.*
Anyway, we cannot possibly capture all the excitement that has gone on in the past month, so here's the quick run-down so that you're back in touch with the Vileation Nation. We then plan to start fresh with covering Brian and Kristin's wedding which occurred this past weekend.
So...
We hung out with the Kmiecs a couple times, which included playing SpiderMan Yahtzee, Uno Spin, and Blow Out Your Diaper.
We hung out with the King girls for a little while, which included Jake being enamored with older women. That's right, women between the ages of 4 and 9.
We hung out with Megan and Krissy and their kiddos. Check out Krissy's synopsis over at Two Are Better Than One. Megan and Krissy were the BSG Ambassadors (that's Bible Study Girls) and they treated Kevin and me to some amazing dinners and tons of hands-on child rearing experience!! It was a joy to spend time with Faith, Jonathan and Toby.
We hung out with the Jaglowskis as they passed through on their way to Ocean City for vacation and Sam's first experience with the ocean! They tried to convince us that we will love the Mac. Hmmmm.
Amy and Jake hung out with Melissa (from prenatal yoga) and her son Jack at the mall a couple of times. We also went to Baby and Me yoga and learned such hits as Hopalong Yogi and Chugga Chugga.
So that's the quick recap. Soon we will post about the big wedding in Atlanta this weekend. Hooray for Jake as he is now a member of the Delta Sky Miles program. Well, not quite, but he did manage to get to Georgia and back in an airplane, so we are very pleased with his progress. You will see that he has also become quite a prodigy at using his play center thing. With the help of a pillow for his feet, he's really giving that toy a run for its money. Then finally we have a picture of the boys outside for their fall photo shoot. Sadly this is probably the best shot. They are both super cute in person, the pictures don't do them justice...!

I am going to sound like the biggest blog stalker ever when I say, "I AM SO GLAD TO SEE A NEW POST FROM YOU!!!" I THINK ABOUT YOU ALL THE TIME. But not in a weird, creepy way. In a "I hope she's not blogging because she's enjoying her family and having fun and not because she's gone off that deep end of new motherhood.
I was very close to coming out and asking Crafty P for an Amy update to make sure, but then I thought she might think I was weird.
Although I'm pretty sure by now she expects weird from me.
Jake looks very cute still. I cannot believe how much you've all been doing. When I had Noah I thought it was a big accomplishment if I took him to get the mail and my boob didn't leak on the way. (hey...it was a long walk to the mailbox.)
So glad to hear you are well.
Really. This blog stalker is super happy and will finally sleep soundly tonight!
I cannot wait to meet Jake. And... see you! I only wish Luther was going to be there. wait, is luther coming to grove city?
oh I can't wait!
you guys have been super busy.
ps. i just downloaded picasa. maybe you can give me pointers on that?
So glad to see that you are giving the Mac a shot. Seriously, do you want me to make you a job aid or something? That's no problem. I initially loathed our Mac, but now "I heart Mac's". It takes some getting used to, but it's worth it. You'll be making iMovies in no time!
We were so glad to be able to spend time with you a few weeks ago and hope to stop by again soon when we are in the area.
I love the fall photo shoot of the Vile boys!!!
I am so glad to see the nation is back up and running. I love that Jake watches a movie in his seat in his crib. Its too much.
